The vision behind 24h-flowers began to take shape in 2004, when an
experienced 25-year veteran in the flower industry decided that the time
was ripe to manufacture his own custom-designed flower vending machines.

The idea was hardly new; currently there are a handful of different
automated floral vending machines scattered around the world. However,
careful examination of the variety of models available on the market
showed that most of them didn't incorporate all of the features that
would provide customers with a quick and simple way to purchase top-rate
pre-arranged fresh cut flowers and bouquets, while also offering the
operator an easy-to-maintain, dependable, profit-generating machine.

What's different about this floral vending machine?

This flower vending machine was designed with the needs of two very distinct groups of users in mind: its operators and customers. Each group presented a very well-defined set of needs and requirements that meant striking a careful balance wasn't without challenges. Operators are looking for machines that allow for easy monitoring of sales, are simple to re-stock, clean and maintain, and provide a good source of income.

An experienced team of engineers, all experts in the design and manufacture of automated vending machines, was carefully handpicked. Pairing up flower industry professionals with vending machine experts often meant that each side had to convince the other to integrate features they felt were necessary for the attractiveness, durability, ease of use, convenience, and ultimate success of the machine. Together, over an arduous 2-year production period, the team researched, tested, examined, and reworked the concept until the design was a perfect blend of technology and product – a streamlined, attractive, high-tech flower vending machine supplying fresh, beautiful bouquets.
